We did it again ...
The 4th Annual Havana Daydreamin'
was again a huge success!

On behalf of the Dubuque contingency, I'd like to express my
gratitude to the entire Quad City crew for another exceptional party!
It was great to re-connect with old friends and party with new ones
while rockin' out to The Boat Drunks and T.C. Mitchell.
The hospitality extended by the Quad City Parrot Heads was
exceptional and it wouldn't be a stretch to say that EVERYONE had a
great time.

Thank you again, QCPH! We're looking forward to next year's bash!

Wow!!!

Six folks from the Omaha PHC had a wonderful time at the
Havana Day Dreamin' party this past Saturday. The Quad City PHC
put on an exceptional event. The Boat Drunks were the perfect band
for the event (they too live in a ocean deprived, snows too often,
way too cold, state) (they know about the latitude!) The officers,
committee chairs, and members of QCPHC made everyone feel
welcome: a pre-party for the out-of-towners, gift bag in our hotel
rooms, excellent venue (the event center is connected to the
hotel by a second floor walkway .... needed in Davenport
in the winter) and a great attitude. I don't know much about
the financial details, but the room was huge and full, the large dance
floor was always full, the silent auction's bids were in the $$$$
range, the Landsharks were jumping into the ice buckets,
and everyone was smiling.

All of the Omaha crew and our new friends at our table were
amazed at the event, our parrot hats are off to you. You guys ROCK!

I feel I must echo Jimmy's sentiments. The Milwaukee club has been
represented from the first year at this party (we had 10 members
there this year) and in my opinion, outside of MOTM, this is THE
party to attend every year. The QCPH always does an unbelievable
job of making everyone feel welcome and the party itself is the best

On behalf of the Isle of Iowa Parrot Head Club traveling Parrots, I
want to extend our thanks for a fantastic party. Everything about
Havana Day Dreamin' was great. The goodies in our room, a great pre-
party, and an awesome display of generosity with sooooo many silent
auction items. The band was great, the Land Shark beer tasty and
meeting new and old Parrot Heads was priceless.
We look forward to next year.

This was my first HDD, and I will be attending it again, and
