ABOUT CLUB TICKETS:
There are only 300 tickets allocated to PHIP per show. There will be many clubs vying for those 300 tickets. We will get a proportion of those 300 based on our membership as a percentage of the total membership of all eligible clubs. Each club is eligible for tickets at the venue closest to it. We get Chicago because per Mapquest, Chicago is 155 miles away and Alpine is 175 miles away.
The advantages of club tickets is that we can all sit together, and we can get tickets without the hassle and stress of dealing with Ticketmaster or LiveNation, and we don't have to pay the TM or LN fees.
SEAT LOCATION and PRICE:
We will not know the location of the seats until they are shipped to us a couple weeks before the show. Based on past experience, I expect the tickets to be average, highest priced seats. (Last year we were in Section B2.) Plus we can all sit together. The ticket price this year is $129
RULES:
There are very strict rules that we must follow when using any PHIP tickets.
Must be a Paid, active member of a PHIP sanctioned club to use the tickets.
The tickets may not be resold, given, etc. to anyone or for use by someone who isn't a club member.
If you are awarded a ticket and can not use it, you must turn it back in to the club for distribution to the next member in line. Note: In the past, every QCPH member who has wanted a club ticket has been able to get one. However, should there be more demand than supply, eligibility will be determined based on member participation.
You must be a member and be paid current to be eligible for a club ticket. If you joined before September 2008 and you did not renew at HDD, chances are you will need to pay your dues. Renewal notices will be mailed out soon. Please look for yours in the mail and return it by mail or at the next social.
HOW TO GET CLUB TICKETS:
Because there was so little time between when the concert dates were announced and when tickets went on sale, we have already submitted requests to PHiP for club tickets. If you did not request a ticket but are still interested in club tickets, there is a chance that some may be available if clubs don't use their allotment or if people request tickets but then can't use them. If you are still interested in trying to get a club ticket, please email info@qcph.com and we'll
do our best to find you a ticket. Please indicate how many club tickets you would like, the names of the members they are for, and whether you are requesting tickets for 8/8, 8/15, or both shows. These tickets must be used by members. If you request tickets, you are obligated to pay for them. Requests do not guarantee a ticket.
WHAT IF I GET CLUB TICKETS:
By requesting a club ticket, you agree to abide by the ticket rules and are obligated to pay for them immediately. QCPH collects all the ticket money and forwards payment to the ticket coordinator. They ship us the tickets for distribution shortly before the show. If you are fortunate enough to get club tickets and then also get tickets from livenation, you can sell your ticketmaster tickets to anyone you wish. Privately purchased tickets can be used by anyone, not just club members. The club accepts no responsibility for the resale of your privately purchased tickets.
WHAT IF I CAN'T USE MY CLUB TICKET:
Should you end up not being able to use the club ticket you were awarded, you must return it to the club for re-allocation to another member. The club will not be financially responsible for the cost of the returned ticket, but will do its best to resell the ticket to another club member and recover your costs.
CAN I GET TICKETS TO ANOTHER SHOW, LIKE VEGAS OR HAWAII:
Maybe. If all tickets are not used by the local clubs, they are opened up to other clubs. So if you are interested in club tickets to another venue, please ask. All PHiP ticket rules will apply. Note: Don't bother requesting Alpine tickets, there won't be extras.
WARNING:
We take the ticket rules VERY seriously, as does PHIP. Not following these rules could jeopardize our ticket rights in the future and even our club charter.
SEE YOU AT TOYOTA PARK!!
